Image Flow
Scan, tag and browse your photo and video library โ fast, and entirely on your own computer.
Your library, organised for you
Point Image Flow at the folders you care about. It indexes everything, reads the metadata, and gives you ways to find a photo that don't involve remembering where you put it.
Tagged automatically
Every item is tagged by camera, year, season, time of day, media type and folder โ no typing required.
Filters that combine
Tick several tags at once: values in one category widen the result (2016 or 2020), categories narrow it (Olympus and 2020).
RAW, HEIC and video
JPEG, PNG, HEIC and RAW from most cameras (ARW, CR2, CR3, NEF, NRW, RAF, ORF, RW2, DNG), plus video with sound.
Fast with big libraries
A virtualised grid stays smooth over tens of thousands of thumbnails, and rescans skip files that haven't changed.
A proper viewer
Full-screen viewing with zoom, pan, rotate, a details panel and a slideshow โ all fully keyboard operable.
Light and dark
Follows your desktop theme, or pick one. Looks at home on Windows and on Linux.
Screenshots
Browse by month, filter by tag, and open anything full-screen.
Private by design
Image Flow is for looking at your own photos, so it has no reason to know anything about you.
- Your photos, videos and index never leave your computer.
- No account, no ads, no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting.
- It only ever reads your files โ it never modifies, moves or deletes them.
- On Linux the snap is built without network access at all.
Free to use
Image Flow is freeware. If it's useful to you, a coffee helps keep it going.
